This is a duration desk: one narrow job, kept accurate — how many days each Bali entry route gives you, how far it extends, and what happens on the day it runs out.
The one thing this desk is for
Most visa pages answer “which visa”. This site answers “how long”, which is a different and more error-prone question. Visa on arrival, visa exemption, the single-entry visit visa and the multiple-entry route all count days differently, and the extension each allows is not interchangeable. We keep one table per route, with the extension count stated separately from the initial grant, because collapsing them is where most published advice goes wrong.
How the counts are checked
Day counts, extension limits and overstay penalties trace to Ditjen Imigrasi and the current regulation on immigration tariffs. The overstay fine in particular is a per-day figure set by regulation, not by an officer’s discretion, so we cite the figure and the instrument rather than quoting a number we were told at a counter. When we cannot confirm a change against a published source, the page says the figure is unconfirmed instead of implying it is settled.
What we do not claim
We are a documentation desk, not an immigration authority and not a law firm, and we publish no personal credentials. An extension is granted at the office that receives it; timing at a specific immigration office can differ from the regulation’s wording, and we would rather tell you that than pretend the process is uniform across Indonesia.
